Delete your account

You can remove your JodiSync account and its data whenever you like.

In the app

1. Open JodiSync and go to Me.
2. Tap Settings, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your profile disappears from everyone's view straight away.

Without the app

If you cannot open the app, write to hello@jodisync.com from the email address you use to sign in with Google, with the subject "Delete my JodiSync account". We use that to check it is really you.

What happens next

• For 30 days we keep your account in a hidden state, so you can sign back in and restore it if you change your mind.
• After 30 days your profile, photos, selfie, voice intro, messages, matches, likes and other personal data are removed permanently.
• A few records may stay where the law requires, or to protect other members (for example a report about abuse). They are kept only as long as needed.
• Messages you sent may remain visible in the conversations of people you chatted with until their own accounts are removed, but they will no longer be linked to your profile.
